Born in Brooklyn, composer/guitarist Sandy Prager has been playing guitar since the age of 12. He is a seventh-generation musician which includes his father, jazz trombonist Bert Prager, who was also his first teacher. Add growing up in Latin-flavored Miami and you have a good idea of the rich varieties of musics which go into Prager's compositional melting pot.
